Frequently Asked Questions

What do I look for when buying a Trampoline?

1. A Quality Trampoline Frame: The most important part is a good quality trampoline frame. The thickness of the metal, the size of the pipe and the quality of the welds will cause the trampoline frame to last longer. Always ask for the heavier gauge. The lower the number the thicker the steel. Most offer trampolines from 17 gauge or 16 gauge. note: the gauges get thicker as the number go down.

   2. A good Trampoline Mat (or Bed): Ask for Grade A or Permatron®. Make sure the threading that is used is UV treated and heavy. Make sure the attachment used is v-rings. All of our trampolines are excellent quality with 6 rows of stitching that holds the v-rings securely in place. On the bottom side, our mats have an extra lining to hold the v-rings together. Below is the picture our mat's bottom side compared to other mats.

3. Trampoline Spring: It's not just the length and its not just the trampoline spring count that gives you the best bounce. It's the resiliency (the recoil) of the spring. All of our trampoline springs have a resiliency that is designed for a fantastic bounce!

4. A Thick Trampoline Pad: Make sure its thick enough so you dont feel the trampoline frame underneath. You want to have a good quality vinyl and polyethylene foam. We recommend that your trampoline pad be at least a 1/2" to 1" thick. Thick pads are well worth the extra cost. Don't settle for LESS!! Accidents and injuries can and do occur from hitting the spring or frame.

What cover should I get?  What is the difference between a PVC cover and a PE cover?

 1.  The PVC weather cover is useful to keep leaves and other debris off the surface.  Also CAN resist UV, rain and snow.

 2.  The PE weather cover is useful to keep leaves and other debris off the surface.  Will NOT resist UV, rain and snow.

Can I jump on my trampoline when a Trampoline Tent is installed?

 1.  NO, it is not suggested to jump when the Trampoline Tent is installed.

What is a Trampoline Enclosure/Safety Net?

 1.  It is safety equipment for children and beginners.  Although no device can guarantee your safety and safe play remains your responsibility, our enclosure does substantially reduce the risk of injury associated with falling off a trampoline.

   What does Gauge mean?

1.  The Gauge represents the thickness of the metal in question. The smaller the gauge gets the thicker the Metal gets.
A few examples are,
12 Gauge = 2.052mm
14 Gauge = 1.628mm
15 Gauge = 1.449mm
The thicker the steel the more durable the Trampoline Frame will be. So in general you want a Trampoline with the lowest Gauge possible but note that as the Gauge gets smaller the price of the Trampoline will go up.

Mat Information and Tips

The mat is made of an industrial fabric called Permatron. Permatron has been the choice of trampolines for decades. It is specifically engineered for trampolines and rebounders. It is constructed with polypropylene loaded with carbon and features extremely high tensile strength, UV protection, and mildew resistance. Permatron can hold up in the most extreme climates and resists weather conditions such as precipitation and sunlight. It is flexible, but does not strech. It will provide a firm and stable surface, yet is supple enough to cushion joints. Permatron does not crease or fold and will always return to its original flat condition. This unique process for manufacturing Permatron has been time tested for over 20 years. These methods lead the industry in producing the best trampoline fabric.

Permatron undergoes the most significant finishing process in the industry. What this does is it thermally interlocks the fibers of the fabric, makes it smoother and provides width stabilization to withstand constant flexing and stress. The results show a stronger, sleeker material, with a superior puncture resistance and a surface that is more pleasing for the user. It's smooth surface gives an extra comfort for the user. Also it is manufactured with a proprietary four-pick insertion technology enabling a unique weave pattern for superior strength and durability.

Permatron is virtually defective free. Permatron provides the ultimate in quality and performance. When buying a product that has been made with Permatron, you can be confident in its performance and value.
